This career opportunity will offer you the opportunity to work within a credible team of technical Force.com resources. You will technically deliver custom development, integrations, and data migration elements within the Salesforce.com environment, working with a highly successful team.
As a Salesforce Developer you will handle and maintain coding standards and ensure code adheres to Maersk and Industry standards and are technically sound; participating in all phases of development lifecycle (design, develop, delivery).
We will help you keep up to date on the latest platform changes and champion to technical resources (via tech talks) enabling you to remain best in the field of hands-on coding to collaborate on complex requirements.
To ensure continued excellence you will maintain documentation to describe logic, coding/configuration, testing and changes where applicable.
Key responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Building robust and scalable solutions for common components on the force.com platform that meet Maersk & Industry best practice for platform product teams to consume
• Maintaining and further enhancing the current automation frameworks such as CI/CD and test automation
• Supporting POC’s of new platform features and products
• Enforcing and helping to set development, documentation and governance practices and ensuring the quality of developed solutions
• Working with product teams and offshore development teams
We are looking for
• Experienced knowledge around configuration, integration, and customization (Apex, Triggers, Batch Apex, SOQL, SOSL, SFDC REST/SOAP API, WSDL, SOA Force.com Migration Tool)
• Experience of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Lightning UI, Heroku & Einstein Analytics implementation is desirable
• Strong knowledge of, XML, JSON, JavaScript, jQuery, Web Services
• SFDC Certified Developer (Platform Developer I & Platform Developer II) preferably
• Strong knowledge & experience in using code repositories & code deployment tools.
• Experience developing Lightning components (Optional)
• Experience in working with AGILE and SCRUM
• Experience in working in an international environment
• Exceptional communication (verbal and written), negotiation, decision making, problem solving and facilitation skills
• Collaborative mind-set, open to feedback
• Strong team player with a high degree of flexibility
• Ability to see inter-relations between different aspects of a project and those of other projects internally & externally
• Understanding of customer requirements, challenging existing ways of working and using technology & best practice to enable clean, simple development
