Brookwood IT’s client is a leading technology firm in the heart of central London. Our client is looking for an experienced Salesforce developer who specialises in Lightning and will be responsible for performing hands-on technical implementation with a strong focus on their platform’s functionality. You will be working closely with the Stakeholders, Partners and Digital Transformation team in meeting the business requirements. You are an effective communicator and have excellent technical abilities with a proven track record of developing Salesforce using lighting components.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in end-to-end in the product life cycle, including solution design, development, testing, and implementation
- Design and develop Salesforce solutions (Configuration and Development)
- Keep up to date of new Salesforce features and functionality and provide recommendations for process improvements
- Implement appropriate functionality after reviewing and understanding the business requirements
- Provide technical support to end users, monitor and troubleshoot system integration
- Attend planning meetings, assist with determining if / how salesforce.com can be used in new ways as opposed to purchasing a new internal system
- Work alongside QAs’, Salesforce Administrators and the product team in an agile approach to proactively improve Salesforce usability
- Create and enable best practises and governance measures for support of the solution
- Resolving bugs and issues with the existing codebase
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge of Service Cloud and Sales Cloud, exposure to Marketing Cloud, Community Cloud, DMP & relevant Salesforce products
- 2 years minimum as a Salesforce Developer
- Salesforce Developer Certification
- Educated to degree level (Computer Sciences preferred)
- Salesforce data tools e.g. Data Loader
- Required Lightning development skills
- Salesforce capabilities and limitations
- Previous system integrations experience using REST and 3rd party APIs
- Experienced in Apex including web services, batch processing, triggers and classes
- Previous work experience across various technical/ IT teams to design and develop solutions for business implementation (UI Development preferred)
- Experience participating in Agile Development Life Cycle
- Demonstrable experience working with integration tools (Dell Boomi preferred)
- Advanced admin tools like process builder, flow and custom settings.
This is an exciting contract opportunity to work for a global brand within IT as a Salesforce Developer. The initial contract is 6 months, however based on SLA’s there will be extensions offered to the right developer.
