Salesforce Developer

T.M.Lewin are looking for an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer with proven skills, ideally with development experience in retail ecommerce.

We are a heritage British menswear brand and multichannel retailer with a significant physical and digital presence in the UK and internationally. We are a growing business with an exciting digital practice which is seeking to deliver the best digital experience for our customers.

Role & Responsibilities

You will be a key and senior member of the Dev team, working alongside our full stack / integration development partner to deliver our roadmap of new services, features and enhancements. The team also provide day to day support to our digital trading and marketing teams, building out content for events and campaigns.

• Develop functionality using client-side languages; ISML, JavaScript, HTML & CSS (SaSS). Our websites are built on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly Demandware) platform and so significant experience working with this platform is essential.
• Build and launch AB and Multivariate tests using JavaScript on our experimentation platform, Optimizely.
• Use object-oriented techniques to create reusable, easy to maintain code which meets platform and internal standards. Experience using methodologies such as BEM & SMACSS is an advantage.
• Deliver projects to time and to achieve agreed objectives in an Agile (Scrum or similar) development environment

Technical Skills

• Excellent ISML, HTML and CSS skills
• Proficient in vanilla JavaScript
• Salesforce Commerce Cloud development expertise are essential. Able to write and configure jobs, workflows, cartridge based and custom API integrations.
• Confident in understanding, analysing and estimating user stories. Converting business requirements and priorities into technical solutions
• Experience in performance engineering desirable
• Working in JIRA with frequent releases
• Experience of JavaScript task runners
• Experience using a code repository (Bitbucket)
