Duties & Responsibilities

Mission: implement solutions by creating code that is efficient, robust, easy to maintain, as well as understandable and reusable by other developers.

  • Take ownership on user stories, ensuring requirements are properly gathered
  • Estimate complexity (story points) and prioritise development tasks
  • Participate in meetings, technical workshops and demos project stakeholders
  • Identify and report technical risk factors and relevant impediments
  • Identify problems, design and implement resolutions
  • Maintain code and configuration items in the Version Control System (VCS)
  • Adopt and disseminate coding standards
  • Participate in code review session
  • Setup and maintain build automation
  • Execute and maintain builds across staging and production environments
  • Author and maintain project documentation

Qualification / certification / experience

  • Broad experience across the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer 1 & 2
  • 3+ years of professional development experience
  • Experienced with agile or waterfall development projects

Technical Skills

  • Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, Aura, LWC
  • XML, JSON, Web Services, REST
  • HTML, Javascript
  • Familiar with middleware and enterprise integration patterns
  • Data modelling and relational databases
  • Good knowledge of git or mercurial
  • Good knowledge of object­ oriented design and design patterns
  • Familiar with branching strategies and general source control effectiveness
  • Good knowledge of software development lifecycle and continuous integration
  • Familiar with Atlassian suite (Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Confluence)
