Salesforce Developer

Canon Europe's Sales and Marketing IT team is looking for a Salesforce Developer and Business Consultant.

You will be working on all the major products offered by Salesforce like Lightning, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Communities and Marketing Cloud, plus various appexchange packages installed.

You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team with SAFe agile methodology, to execute changes during discovery and build phase, and also going to execute/support deployments during test phase.

You will be part of a team executing projects/changes of Salesforce and connected business systems. We are an Agile team with Architect, Business IT Consultants, Developers and Testers, working side by side with Sales and Marketing colleagues.

• You are going to design, build and deploy solutions to support existing and new features.
• You are going to work with teams with in Canon IT to build integration with Salesforce and also going to be point of contact for connected business systems.
• You are going to be point of contact as level 3 for any support queries from support team and also going to do the fixes for production defects by following Release plan with release manager.
• You will be responsible for changes to Custom Lightning components, technical consultation, doing POCs and executing them during build phase.
• You will be responsible to note and execute changes coming for Lightning for each Salesforce release.
• You will be working closely with Lead Salesforce Developer to define and manage technical/coding standard set for team(internal and external).
• You may also be called upon to share your knowledge and solutions with both technical and non-technical audiences.

To fill this role, you will have

• A record of professional Salesforce Development experience.
• Demonstrable experience and proficiency in middleware, SOAP and REST-based web services, XML and JavaScript.
• Demonstrable of Salesforce Lighting Development Experience.
• Experience developing in Salesforce technologies such as Apex, Lightning and Visualforce.
• Ability to design, code, test, debug, deploy and maintain Salesforce.
• Experience with technical analysis of requirements.
• Salesforce Admin and Platform Developer I Certified.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment

It is advantageous if you also have

• Strong understanding of JavaScript.
• Understanding of Lightning design System.
• SFDC Platform Developer II Certified.
