Job Description

Looking to be part of an exciting new Agile or Scrum environment? Allstate NI is currently seeking highly motivated Salesforce Developers of varying levels of experience for opportunities in Belfast and Derry.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative and growing team developing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform. As a Salesforce developer at Allstate you will work collaboratively with others on the team to create custom, scalable processes for the company.

Responsibilities include (but aren't limited to):

  • Build, maintain and support Salesforce
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve production issues
  • Deliver effective solutions maintaining quality and maximizing availability.
  • Ensure compliance with industry and Allstate standards for design and security
  • Cross-train with others in the organization and continuously develop to stay ahead of the technology
  • Embrace Agile principles for delivery of services
  • Research new functionality and recommend solutions that deliver value.

Essential Criteria

  • Must be an EU citizen or possess a current UK Tier 1 Visa or Tier 2 visa and eligible to take up full time, permanent employment. EU candidates must also demonstrate they are eligible to take up UK employment post-Brexit.
  • At least 2 years’ experience within a development role or similar
  • Salesforce development experience
  • Object Oriented Programming Experience - C#, JAVA or similar coding language
  • Experience usingJavaScript, HTML, CSS or JSON
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Specific Technologies
  • Understanding of Salesforce data model/object relationships

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience in any the following Salesforce Specific Technologies:
  • Lightning Component/Bundle Development
  • APEX , Visualforce
  • SOQL, SAQL
  • Einstein Analytics
