The firm

We are a recognised multi-faceted Insurance firm working on a global scale. This role is set within the Group Enterprise Application area where you would be responsible for providing ongoing expertise for applications supporting the whole of the firm.

The role

As the Salesforce Solution Architect you will be acting as the technical authority for change, as well as creating the roadmap to achieve target architecture with regards to Salesforce. You will be someone who will oversee the integration strategy of existing and new systems.

Further aspects of the role include:

• Collaborating with senior IT and business stakeholders to ensure objectives are aligned
• Be a leader for the company’s technical vision
• Maintain the key technical documentation and architectural plans
• Present complex technology ideas to senior management

Requirements for the Salesforce Solution Architect role

• Possess a strong understanding of business architecture
• Ability to write high-level designs
• Strong gravitas to drive complex decisions
• Good knowledge of virtualised and cloud environments
• An understanding of Microsoft enterprise platforms/patterns – Azure SaaS and PaaS
• Knowledge of technology governance standards
